How our Wellness Program helps associates thrive

Supporting the everyday health and wellness of our people is as important as preventing injuries. To help us all do and feel our best, Zurn Elkay Water Solutions provides tools and resources that assist associates in building strong physical and mental well-being.

In 2021, more than 90% of Zurn’s U.S. workforce participated in our Wellness Program, which provides information, activities and support for associates’ healthy choices. 

Participants earn wellness points throughout the year by completing various wellness checkups and activities that help them reduce the cost of their annual health benefits. Points are available for volunteering, too, since we recognize the correlation between wellness and community engagement.

Preventative care is a foundation of our Wellness Program, which encourages associates and their families to get annual wellness checkups and preventative screening for diseases such as cancer. 

The program also offers associates tools that support mental and physical health, such as activity and sleep tracking, weight management and stress management. In addition, our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides mental health referrals for support where needed.

In 2021, 65% of Wellness Program participants took part in Step Tracking activities or challenges designed to support continuous health improvement. We also make fitness accessible through facilities such as the exercise room at our Milwaukee headquarters.
