We donate both directly and through the Zurn Foundation. In late 2021, Zurn provided an additional $2 million to the Foundation. Recent major gifts include $1 million in hygienic product donations to healthcare facilities during the pandemic and $1 million in support of efforts dedicated to racial justice and equity.
Every full-time Zurn Elkay associate is granted 20 hours of paid company time for volunteer initiatives each year. In 2021, associate volunteers dedicated more than 1,850 hours of volunteer service to enrich their local communities.
Solving sustainability challenges depends on innovative ideas, and we believe our associates are among the most innovative thinkers anywhere. In 2022, Zurn Elkay Water Solutions launched WAVES — our associate-led social impact fund — to provide financial backing and resources for associate ideas that help advance our company’s ESG efforts.

We focus on three primary areas: basic needs like food, housing and clean water for people in need; education that expands opportunities and promotes diversity and inclusion; and environmental protection with a particular focus on clean water for current and future generations.
